I’d like us to learn this Bill Monroe tune. Here’s a video.
Here’s ol’ Bill playing it in 1971 with Byron Berline. The banjo solo is pretty sweet.

This is supposed to be a 1920s A4. I’m trying to figure out what it really is. I don’t know much about early early Gibsons, but this appears to be about a 1908 A something. The serial number appears to be 2304, but I think they start with 2500, so maybe it’s 7304? (I shouldn’t have read that danged interview with Dan Beimborn; it’s got me on an Ur Gibson hunt.) Of course, the other question is what is the fair market value.
The first in my attempts to actually learn tunes well enough to play the fiddle, mandolin and guitar parts. My ultimate goal is to clean up the solos. I recorded this in Garage Band just for a lark and am surprised at how well it turned out, even if I was using a Neuman mic.
